GUI users currently using a web browser to launch the MBD GUI from a Web page may be impacted by an upcoming change to the CMS network. Users are encouraged to immediately begin using the new address, as support for the old one will be dropped in early 2012. Please review the current and new IP addresses for the MBD GUI, which were sent to all MBD users in a communication e-mail titled "Important Notice to All Medicare Beneficiary Database Graphical User Interface (MBD GUI) Users: Uniform Resource Locator (URL) Change for the MBD" on November 9, 2011. For users that utilize a desktop shortcut to launch the browser session, right-clicking on the shortcut icon, selecting 'Properties', and updating the target URL will update the shortcut. If users have a Bookmark or Favorite within the web browser to launch the MBD GUI, right-clicking, selecting 'Properties', and updating the URL will update the saved Bookmark or Favorite.
MBD users who did not receive the November 9, 2011 communication e-mail are advised to contact the MAPD Help Desk to request a copy and have their e-mail address added to our MBD user distribution list.
