This Special ODF is being held to to solicit stakeholder input for the design and development of a proposed Medicare Enrollment Assistance Demonstration Project. A Mailing List notice with the participation information will be sent 2 weeks prior to the scheduled date. ***Health Plans Open Door Forum Overview The Health Plans Open Door Forum (ODF) handles issues predominantly related to the administration of Medicare Advantage (MA) plans and the future implementation of the Title II regulation. Frequently addressed on this call is information pertaining to the MA (formerly Medicare + Choice) plan contract cycles, provider and supplier relationships to the plans, and plan renewal and rate discussions. Timely announcements and clarifications regarding important rulemaking, agency program initiatives, and other related areas are also included in the forums. Other issues related to new employer-based regulations found within the Medicare Modernization Act have been covered under Special ODF sessions.
