The Medicaid Alliance for Program Safeguards is pleased to announce an additional enhancement to the information available on its Web site. Thanks to the National Association of Medicaid Fraud Control Units (NAMFCU), the Web site now contains NAMFCU's model managed care criminal and civil fraud statutes. These model statutes may be of use to states that are considering passing similar legislation to combat fraud and abuse in their Medicaid managed care programs. The Alliance thanks NAMFCU for sharing this information, and for allowing it to be posted to the Alliance Web site.
