OACT's Parts C & D Actuarial Group OACTs Part C & D Actuarial Group's Introduction to Bidding and BPT 101 Training provides actuaries with a basic introduction to the Medicare Advantage and Part D programs, and is not directed at providing experienced industry actuaries with the program and technical guidance required to successfully complete the Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Bids. Viewers can access the training as video streaming webcast, or download materials as a podcast for more controlled viewing.

NOTE: Some users have reported problems viewing the streaming file. Please review the options for viewing the file below.

Video File -- Streaming (Option 1)

If you continue to experience technical problems viewing the video files, try one or both of the following fixes outlined below:

1. Open QuickTime Player
2. Select "File," "Open URL"
3. Paste or type in the URL for this file -- rtsp://streaming.cms.hhs.gov/video/BiddingIntro.mp4 -- and choose "OK"

1. In QuickTime Player, choose "Edit," "Preferences," "QuickTime Preferences"
2. Click the "Advanced" tab, then change "Transport Setup" from "Automatic" to "Custom"
3. In the popup window, set the preference to HTTP on port 80
4. Click "OK" twice
