In 2005, the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) States were provided supplemental funding by CMS to conduct outreach to Medicaid buy-in participants in an effort to better inform them of the transition of prescription drug coverage from Medicaid to Medicare Part D for those who are dually entitled.
