There is no field for the group PTAN on the Web based PECOS enrollment screen. This forces the enrollment staff to generate a development letter after receiving an 855R via the web based enrollment tool. This unnecessary step increases the amount of time required to process a reassignment and increases the chance that a clerical error might further delay the process. |

September: PECOS web will be updated to include a field for the group PTAN. Unfortunately there is a sizable backlog of modifications already pending and therefore we do not expect to add this feature till the second half of 2010.
