DRAFT 2010 LATE ENROLLMENT PENALTY GUIDANCE

The CMS is issuing a draft revision of the existing Creditable Coverage Period Determinations and Late Enrollment Penalty Guidance (Chapter 4 within the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Manual) for a two-week comment period.  Comments on the draft revision must be received by CMS no later than 5 p.m. (EDT), Friday, September 4, 2009.  Please submit all comments via e-mail to LEP@cms.hhs.gov, with "Comments on Draft Guidance Chapter 4" stated in the subject line of the e-mail.
