On March 18, 2008, CMS announced it has awarded the contract for the Jurisdiction 13 (J13) A/B MAC to National Government Services (NGS).  NGS will be responsible for the workload in Connecticut and New York.  As the J13 A/B MAC, NGS will immediately begin implementation activities and will assume full responsibility for the work no later than November 2008.  A Background Sheet and Qs & As related to the award are available below.

On May 06, 2008, CMS announced it has awarded the contract for the Jurisdiction 2 (J2) A/B MAC to National Heritage Insurance Corporation (NHIC).  NHIC will be responsible for the workload in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.  As the J2 A/B MAC, NHIC will immediately begin implementation activities and will assume full responsibility for the work no later than December 31, 2008.  A background sheet and Qs & As related to the award are available below.
