The guides provides an overview of how Plans will exchange data with CMS, describing the input received from the Plans and the report and data files sent in response from CMS to the Plans. It also references screen shots and information relative to the User Interface (UI) Plans use to obtain eligibility and enrollment information online and other information about establishing connections for communication with CMS. The Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan Communications User Guide (PCUG) Appendices present the schedules, report layouts, codes, report files and other system specific information for Plans to reference.
