The Hearings & Policy Presentation Group (HPPG) in the CMS Office of Legislation serves as the principle CMS contact point and Agency lead for all Congressional hearings involving CMS personnel, as well as Department-level hearings requiring CMS participation.  HPPG drafts testimony to be used by CMS witnesses and coordinates the witness preparation for such hearings. HPPG develops responses for questions and facilitates follow-up requests arising from each hearing.
