The Ambulance Fee Schedule public use files for calendar years 2002 through 2010 are located in the Downloads section below. Section 146(a) of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (MIPPA) enacted on July 15, 2008 increases Ambulance Fee Schedule amounts by 2% for services originating in urban areas (as defined by the ZIP Code of the point of pickup) and by 3% for services originating in rural areas (again, as defined by the ZIP Code of the point of pickup) for ambulance claims dates of service July 1, 2008 through December 31, 2009. These increases are reflected in the 2009 Ambulance Fee Schedule Public Use File found below. The 2010 Ambulance Fee Schedule Public Use file does not reflect these MIPPA increases as they expired and are no longer in effect for claims with dates of service beginning January 1, 2010.
